Late Summer Praise Open Afternoon & Lunch’
on Saturday 21 September.
Time: 12.30 pm onwards Saturday lunchtime & afternoon
Venue: Leeds City Mission Hub, Mistress Lane, Armley, Leeds, LS12 2LJ.
Leeds City Mission is a multi-church Christian agency that has been in existence since 1837. Its focus is on gospel outreach & mercy ministries to marginalised people and supporting churches around the city in their lives and witness.
Guest speaker – David Morris formerly with the Bible Society & retired pastor from Church on the Green at Baildon.
Part of proceedings will include a tribute and farewell to Dagmar Truman the current Hub Manager who is leaving the City Mission for pastures new after fourteen years. She has been a key worker at the City Mission especially over the last few years with the establishment of the new LCM Hub and the Christian Book & Card Booth.
This is a free event for anyone to attend

12.30—1.30pm Arrive and enjoy a free light lunch—soup, rolls etc, sandwiches, cake
1.30pm—2.30pm LCM Mission Update & also inspiring message
2.30pm—4.00pm Free ice creams, soft drinks, tea & other refreshments
This relaxed afternoon will provide the opportunity to meet others from a wide range of churches and give an insight into City Mission work in Leeds. There will also be a bargain book stall – give as you feel. Come when you can and go when you must.
Location: Leeds City Mission is diagonally opposite Armley Library and is the last public building in the shopping area. Westerly Rise (12-storey block of flats) is adjacent to the City Mission Hub
